Peaucellier's inverter

The machine consists of two joined rombous, APBQ (side a) and ARBS (side b), with the oppsite vertices A and B in common and a>b. When point P is fixed on the model's plan, points R and S correspond to each other in a circular inversion with P as a pole and radius √(a2 -b2) .
